There is now a page on the films that the ESR have produced for the ChannelCYC awards night. The films have been created following the strict guidelines of the CYC committee and are based on either scripture from Proverbs or the parables of Jesus.

Prop construction has began and photos of some of the completed works can be seen here. While we plan to build a lot of the props ourselves, we are in need of a few canvas tents. If you have any, or know anyone who has any that look suitably old then email us or simply tell us the next time you see one of our members. We are also looking for lighting equipment, dolly tracks and a farm or two. Some of the ESR have gone looking at different locations for filming this afternoon. The main location that was looked at was a farm at which a large proportion of the scenes will (hopefully) be filmed. Assuming positive feedback and permission from the land owners, filming should be starting sometime in the next few months. Look at the side bar. At the bottom there are some newly edited photos from last year. Tell us what you think in the special new comments feature. (You click on the thing that says '0 Comments') In a dramatic decision last night (2 July), the ESR have decided that extra parts (non-speaking roles) will be available to people not from Dandenong. Contrary to what we first agreed on, this stunning move will allow for more freedom in shooting large scenes. Despite this drop in secrecy however, non-Dandenong members/children will not be allowed a full script and only if it is deemed nessesary will they be allowed a partial one. If you are interested in playing a part as an extra then you can email us. Some more photos from the script read through have been added to the script writing album over at behind the scenes. Hopefully we can soon have some up of rehearsals and the like. We have now told everyone who has a speaking role who they are playing. If you haven't received an email then you either: Don't go to Dandenong BEC, aren't the right age group for a part, don't have a speaking role or your parents haven't passed on the email to you. We wish everyone good luck learning their parts. After many long hours of deliberation and decision making at a conference held today the ESR have decided on a title for their new blockbuster. The motion was passed at 8:14pm at a private venue in the eastern suburbs of greater Melbourne. So that those who wish to remain spoiler free can avoid any unwanted information, to view the title, highlight the below text. Only minutes ago (or at least minutes ago from when this was written) the ESR finished writing their largest work so far. With 32 scenes, 11,763 words and 25 pages this took a monumentous effort from the ESR team as well as lots of time and google talking between each other. A read through of the script will take place some time in the near future at a secret location at a secret time. Expect to hear news about how you can get involved soon. Some pretty wild rumors about the next ESR production have been circulating and we decided that we should squash some of the more extravagant ones. We have no idea how these started and we urge people not to go talking about things that aren't true. |
