There are some more images up in the Battle of Brotherhood section. If you really want to get involved still (as there is no hope for being in the film if you are not already cast now) then you can help out by making a promotional poster using any of the pictures up on the website. As we keep on adding them you can use them and the best (if any) will be thrown round the place in a sort of advertising mish-mash. But, beware, you are competing against us. (And we may of course use more than one poster.)
The first few images from Battle of Brotherhood have been released and can be viewed in the new Battle of Brotherhood page. We have also completed another shoot in the early hours of this morning (6:00am to be precise) in the freezing cold and drenching wet. It was lots of fun :) Postproduction is also well under way (even though we really haven't finished pre-production or production) and the scenes look great (haha, I get to see them and you don't... yet). I hope all the readers of this website are checking it constantly because big things are on the way. Well, we have done absolutely heaps and heaps of filming and there is still more to come. We are now about two thirds of the way through and the editing process has started. Having seen some of the rotoscoping and colour correction already I can say it's looking great. We are also working towards a completed trailer for early December so keep your eyes open for that. Media from BoB should hopefully become available very soon. (Pictures and the like) We've completed another few scenes from BoB including the first 'Sunday School' scene and the 'Bible Class' scene. Both these scenes went extremely well and we're looking forward to a gruelling weekend of shooting from the 24th-26th. The filming schedule can be downloaded from the sidebar for those who are interested. Any questions should be emailed to me. After weeks of inactivity there is finally some movement that can be detected in the inner workings of Battle of Brotherhood. All the costumes for BoB have been chosen and borrowed and are ready for use. A number of props are now complete and dates for filming are being chosen. Just a reminder that if you want to get involved as an extra then email the ESR here. We will inform you as to which days we will need you. We are experimenting with using a gallery instead of links to Facebook in the 'behind the scenes' section. The Facebook albums will still remain for a while so we fix up any potential problems with the gallery just to make sure that everyone can see the photos. And some pictures have had their pixelation removed for the first time ever. So go and have a look and discover some more of the secrets behind BoB. We have finally started filming for Battle of Brotherhood with a very successful shoot this afternoon (Sunday, 17th August). We got through four scenes (2, 4, 8 and 10) and enjoyed a very nice meal as part of one. There were a few small hitches with some crew members and actors having allergies to the resident cats at the filming location. There was also one scary moment when we realised that the camera mic was not turned on, but thankfully we only had to re-shoot half a scene. Scene one, which was scheduled to be shot today, has been delayed until a later date due to other events. Behind the scenes media will be added when and if it is available. A big thanks to the Bond's for letting us use their house. There is now a page on the films that the ESR have produced for the ChannelCYC awards night. The films have been created following the strict guidelines of the CYC committee and are based on either scripture from Proverbs or the parables of Jesus. Prop construction has began and photos of some of the completed works can be seen here. While we plan to build a lot of the props ourselves, we are in need of a few canvas tents. If you have any, or know anyone who has any that look suitably old then email us or simply tell us the next time you see one of our members. We are also looking for lighting equipment, dolly tracks and a farm or two. Some of the ESR have gone looking at different locations for filming this afternoon. The main location that was looked at was a farm at which a large proportion of the scenes will (hopefully) be filmed. Assuming positive feedback and permission from the land owners, filming should be starting sometime in the next few months. |
